I had been having sinus infections for months at time, and even antibiotics and steroids wouldn't knock it out, and I was just very uncomfortable. I'm a singer, so it was very important for me to get the issue fixed. When we talked to Dr. Potocki, he really took that into account, and he knew that it was really important to me to do something that was safe and healthy for my vocal cords and not to damage anything in my sinuses. The procedure lasted about an hour or so, and I really wasn't that uncomfortable at all and was awake for the whole thing, and everything went very smoothly. As soon as I was finished and at home after the procedure I could tell a huge difference in the way that I felt. I didn't even realize how uncomfortable I was, until after the procedure because I just felt so good and was able to breathe so easily.

My sinuses were really, really, really bad. My nose was running, and my eyes would run constantly like I was crying, and the hoarseness was really bad. I was just miserable. When I came in to see Dr. Potocki, he told me that I could either have the balloon procedure, or it would be a condition I could just live with because there wasn't any other way to cure what I had or to take that sinus problem away. Dr. Potocki explains exactly what he's doing, and he gives me the options. His nurse was very, very kind. I did not have any pain at all. Dr. Potocki had me to take a valium, but after I got home, I didn't find any need for the pain pills at all. My eyes are not watering like they were. My nose is not running like it was. I'm not hoarse like I was.
